Services We Offer
To assist in understanding how we operate, we have outlined the typical steps and transition from your initial enquiry through to your actual holiday.
Information Gathering
In our contact us tab we have an enquiry form which, when completed, helps us to get an understanding of the type of holiday you are looking for. The information under the itineraries, destinations, accommodation and activities tabs may assist you in completing the form. When we receive your enquiry we will be in contact with you by phone or email to go through things so we can ensure we have as full an understanding as possible of your requirements.
Pricing
Once we are satisfied we have all the information we need, we will prepare a draft itinerary and advise you of the cost based on our wholesale/trade rates. We will also advise you of our fee which covers everything below. This model differs from most other operators who price their tours at retail prices or by adding mark-ups to their costs. Our method of operation allows more choice and flexibility when making recommendations which we believe best suit our clients without the influence of supplier incentives. Note: the savings made by using our trade/wholesale rates will normally more than offset the cost of our fee.
Agreement to Proceed
Once the client has agreed to proceed and paid our fee, we send you your initial holiday proposal. We then work with you to fine-tune it to a stage where you are totally happy with it. If for any reason we cannot produce an itinerary with which you are entirely happy, we will refund our fee in full. Also, should you need to cancel your holiday due to international travel restrictions and lockdowns caused by Covid-19, we will provide a full refund of our fee.
Confirmation of Bookings
Once your itinerary is finalised we will go ahead and confirm all your bookings.
About 2 Months Prior to Commencing Your Holiday
We will send you your detailed itinerary; similar to a diary, this will include a daily summary of any bookings made, estimates of travel times, suggestions of possible stop-overs and places of interest, together with a list of contact details for all your bookings. At this time, we will send you an invoice for the cost of your New Zealand holiday as per the finalised itinerary. This is payable 30 days prior to the commencement of your holiday. Payment can be made by bank transfer, Visa or Mastercard.
On Your Arrival in New Zealand
- For those arriving in Auckland, we meet and greet you and ensure you are happy with your rental vehicle (should clients wish, we can drive them with their rental car to their first night’s accommodation in Auckland; some clients may appreciate this after a long flight, arriving in unfamiliar surroundings and driving on the opposite side of the road from which they are accustomed).
- We provide you with a welcome pack and information folder which contains vouchers for all your bookings.
- We offer a complimentary pre-programmed GPS (with destinations of all your bookings and points of interest) for those who would prefer this option as opposed to using their phones for navigation.
- Where your itinerary allows, and should you wish, we will try and join you on one of your rounds of golf in Auckland.
