The attractive lake-side town of Taupo boasts two of New Zealand’s top golf courses, Wairakei Golf and Sanctuary and the Kinloch Club, New Zealand’s only Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. Rotorua is a popular tourist destination and renowned for its geothermal activity and Maori culture. Whilst in this region you may wish to include a visit to Hobbiton and/or the Waitomo Caves.
